Cohen and Kleo Site Relaunch

We’ve been working on this relaunch for a couple months now with a few goals in mind:
- To refresh the site’s style and design to align with our book’s branding
- To improve the speed and function of the site
- and To add the shop so you dear reader can buy our book
So, what’s new?
Colour
One of the biggest changes we’ve made is a refreshed colour scheme. Our old site used aqua, dark green, and various greys and whilst we liked it, we also realised that as the book grows and gets its colour we should find a consistency.
The site now features a brighter green and pink accents inspired by Kleo’s coloring, along with off-white and darker greys for contrast. Hopefully you like the vibrancy
The Shop

This is an element we’ve been looking to add for some time now, before we even published the book back in October 2024.
One challenge in setting up the shop was figuring out how to fulfill physical book orders. When we were travelling this was looking increasingly difficult; our return to Wellington has given us a base (for now) that will allow us to distribute the book.
For now, we’re only shipping physical copies within New Zealand but hope to expand internationally soon. In the meantime the book is availabe worldwide on Amazon and a number of other online retailers globally.
If a physical copy isn’t an option for you, we now have it available as an eBook.
Since Kleo the Kererū Meets Cohen the Kiwi is a fully illustrated picture book, we were hesitant about an eBook version—there’s always a risk of the reading experience being distorted. But after reflecting on it, we realized that many of our friends are travelers and may not have access to a physical copy. So here we are!
The Gallery
If you’ve been here before you may have explored our photo gallery, a place where we documented our travels and the places we visited.
With the site refresh, we’re changing how we manage our gallery. It’s temporarily offline, but we’ll be bringing it back in a few weeks with even more travel memories.
